1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• From parents: Name and email address, parent or guardian consent evidence, and subscription status
• About the child: Nickname only (not full name), an avatar, and an age band from 2 to 5. We do not ask for a birth date
• Gameplay data: Scores, time spent in each game, and the activities the child practiced
• We do NOT collect: Children's photos, location data, device identifiers, or any other personal data from children

2. How We Use Information

• Provide the service and operate educational games
• Show progress reports to parents
• Improve games and the educational experience
• Send important account-related notifications (to parents only)

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)

We are committed to protecting children's privacy in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation for children (GDPR-K):

• We do not collect personal data directly from children— only parents provide account information
• No behavioral advertising targeting children
• No Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or other third-party analytics toolson child-facing pages
• We record aggregate counters to improve content, such as how often a game is opened, receives a first interaction, or is completed. These counters contain no visitor or child ID, IP address, or device fingerprint and cannot track an individual child
• We do not sell children's data or share it for advertising; only the service providers needed to operate JanaWorld process it
• Parents can delete all data at any time from account settings

4. Data Storage & Security

• We use Cloudflare infrastructure to host our service
• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Data is stored in D1. We do not sell it; only the providers listed below process it to operate JanaWorld
• We implement security best practices to protect your data
• Aggregate usage counters are automatically deleted after 13 months

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate JanaWorld. External analytics tools run only on parent-facing pages and only after consent:

• Creem — for payment processing (adults only)
• Cloudflare — for hosting, database, and content delivery
• Resend — for parent login and security emails
• Google — when a parent chooses Google sign-in
• Hamsa — to pronounce the child's nickname in the parent's name preview and in stories. We send only the nickname text, with no identifier or account data, and store one audio clip per spelling that is not linked to any specific child
• ElevenLabs — so Jana can say the child's nickname in her own voice in games. In the same way, we send only the nickname text, with no identifier or account data, and store one audio clip per spelling that is not linked to any specific child; we then ask ElevenLabs to delete the request from its history as soon as the clip is made
• Google Analytics — for parent page usage analytics only (not active on child-facing pages)
• Creem retains payment records for applicable legal periods; account and child data is deleted from our systems when the account is deleted.

6. Parent Rights

As a parent, you have the following rights:

• Access: View all your child's data at any time
• Export: Download a complete copy of all your data and your child's data
• Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
• Correction: Update or correct any information
